3.3nF 100V Polyester Capacitor

Polyester capacitors are capacitors composed of metal plates with polyester film between them, or a metallized film is deposited on the insulator. They have a high temperature coefficient. They have high isolation resistance, so they are good choice capacitors for coupling and/or storage applications. They have high capacitance per unit volume. This means more capacitance can fit into physically smaller capacitor. Polyester capacitor or Mylar (PET) capacitors are used in places where low ESR (Equivalent Series resistance) is needed. These capacitors have a long rise time enabling it to be protected from voltage spikes. This capacitor has a capacitance value of 3.3uF and a voltage rating of 100V. Like all polyester capacitor they do not have polarity. They are used in moderately high frequency circuits and audio oscillator circuits.
